When we played Saints me and my mate got asked to put our cigs out when we were smoking in the railway end. I told this woman that you could smoke there, as it was open. I then had a couple of other Saints fan pipe up next to me. One bloke said it was the law that you couldn't smoke there as it was banned in all stadiums. They just wouldn't listen when I said you could smoke there as it was open, and that I had been going to watch Cas at home for quite a while and have always smoked in that end. They wouldn't have it though, and were being really clever about it, so I just told them to go and get a steward if they wanted. Shame I didn't have a cigar on me!

Then you're to be congratulated for managing to live in a society which absolutely depends on the routine and systematic exploitation of people in third world countries in order to keep you in the manner to which you've been accustomed. Of course, their deaths and desperate poverty aren't important really are they? They're foreigners after all, and it's not as if you personally [imean [/ifor anything bad to happen to them, is it?

Unlike those evil smokers who deliberately set out to force you to passively smoke and thereby run a vaguely remote risk of mildly upsetting you enough to wish them all dead. Still, when you DO die, at least you'll know that any NHS treatments, palliative care, etc that you receive in your final weeks and days was in fact paid for by, er, taxing smokers.

I'm sorry you feel intimidated in the face of bare facts, but perhaps if you can't hack living in a society where OTHERS (not just you) are ALSO allowed to exercise their right to do whatever the hell they like then maybe it's you who needs to grow up. The legislation now in place makes it virtually impossible for a smoker to adversely affect you unless YOU yourself go out of YOUR way to determine to be affected. If that's the case, then you deserve all you get.
