yeah i agree, wonder were we'll play him considering it says loose/stand off, unless TM thinks its a good way of "phasing" shifty out.

Given his age and the fact we're loaning out the Under 20's loose forward and captain, I expect he'll feature @ 13 for them.

josh tonks is only 18,no chance of playing in your first team yet,hes not featured for us this year but played 1 game last year away to blackpool and scored from off the bench,not the biggest of lads but a good move allround,should help both players

Ed is a half back whose a loose-forward but a loose-forward thats a half-back. Let me explain.
Half backs need pace - Ed has the pace of a forward.
Forwards need tough aggression - Ed has the toughness of a back.

He is a top lad but is deficient in the skills needed for the positions above, if you could add pace to him he would be a top half back or if you added toughness to him he would be a top back row forward. Great kicker for goal and out of hand. Forwarding the clock a few years i think he'll be a ball handling front rower who doesn't hit it up !!

Bit like Kevin Sinfield then?
