People will try and Park at xscape and Junction 32 and walk over, after a trip to the winterseam

That's what I was thinking also......and hence we are back to the problem that I mentioned about it being a traffic nightmare.

I hope that it doesn't turn out that way, especially as they are using the limited access to Wheldon road as a key reason for it not being suitable for further development or our SL2012 franchise bid.

You could argue that there's still a substantial amount of capacity available within Xscape and its car park even on the busiest of days. This leaves the sole issue of the roads which, as has been mentioned, there are plans to increase capacity.

Lets hope that the increase in road capacity mentioned is enough to correct the existing design shortfalls....and enough to facilitate access to the new ground and other new attractions. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Here's to hoping it all comes together (for both our clubs) the region would be much poorer without SL.

don't forget the methley cas fans objecting to our new stadium swc ! i personally back both stadiums, like the derby games ! but lots of peeps on this board seem to want to dis ours!

I thought the residents were objecting to more than just a stadium?
And not personally knowing each objector would be unable to accurately say which RL team if any they supported.

It would seem also that you are late to the stadium derailing party that is Cas/Wakey board discussions, most of us have moved forward from 'Dissing' each others plans.

If what I hear is to be believed then expect an announcement on tuesday on the Cas website.
