| He struggling with form so may be TM thought that it was best to take him off,or could be the wind was very strong so may have wanted a better defender on the pitch rather than a good kicking game!

| Well I didn't see him on the field for any of our tries between 39-63. Correlation there is we're okay without him. Don't get me wrong, Catalan are struggling and a fit Sherwin will without a doubt be beneficiary to us. In the mean time *cough Brierley cough*?

| Agree, would like to see Brierley get alittle game time this year.
I know some say he isnt big enough yet,but....
As a club we looked at Rob Burrow(said to be too small), we also said the same with Gareth Ellis .
Also,we have to ask ourselves this,IF Sam Tomkins(hardly muscular) was at Cas would he have got chance like he got at Wigan last year?
Maybe young Ryan should talk in a aussie twang, get barred from Xscape and get to work on a beer gut to get T.M's attention

I have said it loads of times on here - If we play him and he makes some mistakes and we get beat - at least we get something out of it in terms of development, learning and that's good for the future.
Patching Shifty up to play at 40%, or concocting a back rower to play hopelessly out of position at 6 and ruin Rangi's game as well is not only stupid, but also doesn't offer us anything in the midterm.....
BUT!!!!!!! and here it is, if we play some kids then booing them off at half time and getting on the teams backs will not help, so everyone has a responsibility.

He's got T.M's attention, hopefully a bit of game time won't be that far off.

| =#0080FFI am quite fearful of the expectation that has been put on Brierley over the last year or so.
I'd like to see him get his chance against Barrow.
It would be easy to say he should play against the likes of Quins, Salford and Crusaders but we need to take into account that we need to be winning those games, at least with Barrow he'd get a run out with the first team and if we lose that game then it's no massive loss. We'd all like a cup run, but giving some experience to a youngster is important too.
Ryan will get his chance when it's the right time and let's hope that he gives TM a reason to play him every week.

Disagree completely with that statement. I feel a cup run is our only chance of winning anything or coming near to winning something.

| Yeah I agree with that ^. Plus on our day I do think we're capable of springing a surprise or two. However the league requires consistency, something we're not.
I still can't understand how we beat Catalan with no scrum half and no full back (in theory).
