Who do you think were the best and worst players to wear the black and amber from 2000-2009?

Feel free to split it down to positions, or backs and forwards if you're struggling to pick just one.

Worst player to wear the shirt this decade is going to be a tough choice, with most of the 2004 squad to choose from …

Sean Rudder for me but as you say there were plentey in 2004

and best best player has got to be shenton for my money.

Can't argue with that, they were pretty dire. Speaking of which Luke Dyer was terrible, as was Matt Whitaker and we didn't get them until 2006.


That's actually a really good shout, especially when you take his loyalty into account. The same could be said of Huby although I don't think he began to show his true potential until 2009.

Paul Franze - worst? Best - Brad Davis?

i think franze just came to us at the wrong time of the season as that easter period nearly killed him

but i cant argue with brad, top man

faumuina was pants, Tom Haberecht,Craig Greenhill, Luke Dyer the same. Best for me would have to be Dale Fritz,Brad Davis,Danny Brough,Michael Shenton

Best - Bartrim. Worst - Franze.

Can't help thinking it's a bit harsh on Paul Franze.

My vote on the worst would go to Craig Greenhill as he arrived with a lot of expectation and a big reputation, "played" significantly more games and was paid significantly more money.

Davis and Shenton both good shouts for the best.

Does anyone even come close to Sean Rudder? In the bad sense?
