I agree with you to a certain extent. The effects of a small squad with little scope for rotation has been evident for some time, the forwards in particular looking jaded. However the lay-off prior to the Leeds debacle does not seem to have been beneficial and I wonder if it just gave tired players a taste for the end of season break rather than an appetite for remaining fixtures.
