No problem mate. The league express article is confusing in its use of the double negative.
It was never confirmed when they were signed whether last years new players from overseas - Chase, Widders & Faumuina - counted on the overseas quota. At least one of them must not as otherwise we'd have exceeded the 5 player limit this year.
I'd guess that Widders counts on o/s quota as a native Australian but either or both of Chase & Faumuina may be KOLPAC as a lot of NZ players are. Guess we won't know until a signing is announced....
