Black Backgrounds/Earl Sinclair.gif Future is bright for Cas i believe we win the League in the next 5 year.:Black Backgrounds/Earl Sinclair.gif |

| Quote: Sandal Wild Cat "But to be fair, and with the greatest amount of respect, it's our city and our council, MOST Castleford residents don't see themselves as being part of Wakefield in any Sense, so why not push for your own council? oh yeah because you would be majorly out of pocket. Castleford has no economy with j32 apart. Very little industry and what would be very little income to any such council. I make no claims of liking Cas, but this has nothing to do with rugby, i don't see the point of carrying and paying for a region that holds no allegiance to the wider district that fronts the bill.
Yes a pool being built at j32 paid for by WMDC angered me, and many others in Wakefield, after OUR council took our facilities away and has all but shelved a promise to build new facilities in the hub of our district.
I for 1 am in favour of an independent Castleford.
As for Sport England, a friend who i went to university with now works as a senior accounts manager at Victoria House. Her colleague has been involved with both claims. The only things she couldn't tell me were amounts the were applied for, but J30 has been pushed through very quickly & has been successful, However the same can't be said for J32. Take it or leave it.'" What a load crap you come with .

| Quote: Gaslight "Yep, the current word at Waystone is still November to Jan start - there's a bit more clearing to be done then it's time for the foundations.'"
So now we have gone from November to potentially January! What guess we come on here in November and you tell us January to April?
Considering [iFULL[/i planning permission hasn't gone in yet, I think your predictions are little short of deluded. I get the impression that you come on here claiming to be in the know when in reality you know nothing. Anyone can claim to be in the know for the purpose of winning an argument on a forum. It would be another thing to provide proof, which of course you won't have......dreamer!

4652.gif I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.

Nay, nay and thrice nay, the Wakey fans are the only ones in the loop, any info from Cas fans is simply hearsay and gossip.

| Quote: Gaslight "At the minute there's 2 options in terms of architect - there's appoint one and get a new design specific to CTRLFC or buy an existing design such as the Keepmoat which does away with the need of an architect - just the structural engineer (as far as I'm aware).
The Nov-Jan start is the ground stabilization and foundation works, then from then on depending on weather conditions a stadium would take between 9-14 months.
This may be some insight to a few people on here but the cost of a stadium (a basic one) is roughly £1m per 1000 seats, so at the minute there will need to be ~£13m for the stadium at J32 to be built.'"
Only thing with that is
a. The Keepmoat/LSV or any other design does not have a swimming pool incorporated (thought there is one on the same site as the LSV).
b. They dont have a dirty great big hill behind that will require retaining. This has been allowed for in the original design apparantly as one stand will not be as high as the others & access is from the ends rather than along the stand.
I must admit that the Keepmoat is a good model to use as a basis & can be adapted to suit.
