Quote: pyeman "Brett has been a work horse in defence for us this season, has made some good yards and scored 4 tries in his first 5 matches, a tally most forwards would be happy. ferres showed alot of early promise until his move to wakefield, where for whatever reason he never settled and seemed to go backwards as a player, now with a fresh start at his hometown club, he is realising the potential he showed early on in his career. Many players can improve there game massivley when given a fresh start, look at danny brough, richard morre and ollie wilkes from your own team alone. At castleford we have chris feather who we were told, had the 'heart of a pea', and has this season been a real standout in an inform front row of a 4th placed team.
So dont be shocked to see a very good performance from ferres if he plays against wakey over easter.'"
brett was a workhorse at wakey in the tackling but tried to emulate solomona in his skills in palming the ball to the backs and often ended up losing possession in the wrong place at the wrong time, memories of that ill fated run against wires costing us a try at the half time whistle just had the boo boys on his back for rest of his playing days at wakey,
if he continues to do the basics I'm sure you will see him continue his good form but as a game winner
shenton is more of a threat
