Well I got the bargain of the year. Booked flights from Donny to girona for £15 each way (including taxes) with RyanAir. Hired a car for three days for 24 quid and staying in the same hotel as last year New Christina in Perpignan for £10 a night less than last year and thats with breakfast included.
Really looking forward to the trip now, dont suppose the weather will be the same as last year but I am sure the travelling Cas army will be in just as good spirit and make it another memorable weekend. Aparently we are on the same flight as the team so will be able to keep an eye on Shifty and Goldy with regards duty free:wink: See you all in Castle square friday night.

Cheapo Airlines from Stansted had no flights on the days I wanted to travel (though they would have taken me if I went out on Thursday and came back on Tuesday), and other flights from Heathrow, Gatwi, London City etc, changing at Paris, would have cost an arm and a leg, and taken most of the day – so I'm coming down by by train:

St Pancras to Lillle on Eurostar, change to a TGV at Lille and straight down the length of the country. No baggage claims etc – cool.

Our best laid plans of staying in Perpignan centre are now shot to ribbons because we've booked cheap flights into Girona. Out Wednesday 4th, back Sunday 8th. Hotel not booked yet, but it'll probably be Lloret again.

im going friday morning on cheapish flights from east midlands to Girona, then transfers to Lloret de Mar, Hotel Ancla where ive heard there are quite a few Cas fans staying. Need to book my caoch with Catalan sports tours from Lloret though for the game

oh and all in all it cost me and the girlfriend £120 each

I love this!! Its like "Planes Trains and Automobiles" all trying to get to the match as cheap as poss, great fun!!

I did it loads cheaper last year but its more this year cos circumstances meant I had to book really late. Good on yer if you get a bargain!

Can't wait, it really is a highlight of the season!
