Had we retained Dorn & Catic and only added around 5 or 6 new signings we could have integrated them reasonably quickly started a lot quicker. You have to bear in mind that our recruitment ahead of this season has been done with a three-year spell in Super League in mind, where as last year we could only really recruit for that season. We've still retained the nucleus of last season's squad, which is extremely important in terms of continuity. The position that we're in now however should provide us with stronger continuity going into 2010 and 2011 and reduced need to make wholesale changes to the squad between seasons. I still get the feeling that many Cas fans are thinking very short-term, when what we need to be doing is thinking about the next three seasons as a long term commitment.
