A totally underwhelming 20 point win today but you can only beat what's in front of you, so well done to the lads. The big point though is should the game have gone ahead? Talking to a couple of Worky fans throughout the game and 14 is all they had, apparently it's been one of their worst ever years for injuries with 8 out after the first couple of games this season.

Yeah, it's fine, you don't have to fill in all the spaces on the team-sheet.

Although, personally, I would. No point in advertising your weaknesses.

Workington only had 16 at our place (I use the term loosely).

We had plenty of enthusiasm, and a few sparks of quality in our offensive plays, but it was a poor performance today.

With only 14 players available, we should have really put them to the sword in the last quarter. To give Town credit, they did their utmost to make a game of it, and although there was an element of luck in a couple of their tries, there's no way they should have reached double figures.

Credit to the new boys playing for us, but RM doesn't seem to be able to get them to play to any sort of pattern, particularly in defence. Far from a settled team (understandably), but we were lacking the basics all too often.

Town beat Bradford, and we beat Town. Bradford put 80 past Sheffield without reply, so in theory we should win at a canter next week! In reality, I think it's in the balance.

If we do get through to the final, we need to have some sort of transformation if we're not going to get a good thrashing from the Bulls. Here's hoping that things finally click...

To be fair, £15 for everyone into the East Stand, BBQ and entry into the post-match presentations. I just hope that everyone doesn't stop behind (it could be a bit tight for space)!
