My feelings are that there are 3 issues that will involve Dane and 1 that involves everybody.

The first challenge.
On it's own I believe it would have been put on report with the judiciary looking at it and dealing with it with any appropriate punishment to follow, as it will now.

The first punch up which Dane was directly involved in.

The second flare up and punch up which Dane was directly involved in.

Finally the rest of the incident involving all the other players.

At the root of the issue are the competitiveness of both teams, the importance of the game, what had happened in the Shay encounter and Sam's history as a player.

I hope the disciplinary look at it fairly, firmly and Dane if guilty learns from it and we all accept it and move on and not burn what has been largely a good relationship we have had as two rival clubs trying to progress in a tough sport.

It is important to realise that nothing happened off the pitch. 'Fax fans are, in my humble opinion, the best. All they've been doing on here is expressing opinions and there's nowt wrong with that, so I would suggest we Leythers stick to our views of what happened and stop berating 'Fax fans for having their opinions. (bearing in mind that we are right, of course! )

As you say John , this bloke Alifax doesn't know either of us , you know I always say what I think , it may not always be right ,but I don't swear or insult anybody , its not my style , and I would Never call Fax fans scum of the Earth , and I told Peawaap he was wrong to say this .Peawaap is not a bad bloke hes OK , but I didn't agree with him .

As you know I respect everyones views , I may not always agree but respect them anyway ,Fax have some great fans , some I know ,some I don't but whatever happens there is no need for personal insults .I dredged up an OLD post and annoyed Littlerich I only did it because he claimed Leigh had a Holier than thou attitude , and I wanted to show him we can all be like that when the going is good .

HalifaxJohn, I'll mention what and who the hell I like when making my point. You post as though you speak on behalf of the forum, when it appears the majority on here disagree with most you have to offer.

By gum, these Leigh fans don't half witter. They're worse than a gaggle of Aberdeen fish wives at an Ann Summers party. Enjoy it whilst ot lasts lads and remember what goes around comes around, it has this season already. Fax will be back and maybe sooner than you think.

A'lifax , Halifaxjohn , and Mester Cairoli , please read the posts that I put on more clearly, I never said that Halifax were the scum of the Earth, what I actually said was that they were the scum of Rugby League, not quite the same thing is it, and I didn't mean the fans who I chatted with amicably in April at the Shay, I meant the Team and in particular Manning, that Man is a thug plain and simple ,and should never be allowed on a Rugby League field again in my opinion ,if Harrison has instructed Him and Fatty Tonks to play that way then he is also guilty, the biggest culprit was of course the useless ref who quite clearly intended Halifax to be his favourites, just like he did at the shay earlier, He and his linesmen aren't fit to referee an under 7s match get em banned.

Alifax , thank you for your reply ,very few people would describe my thoughts as Thoughtful , Articulate , or Balanced , even some Leigh fans think im Pi88ock ,but I do have my own views and NEVER hold back with them , its just that I don't believe in Swearing or insults there is no point , I try to see the game and opinions from both sides .

I don't like to badmouth my friends , but I have been reported by a certain poster on the Fax Forum for my views and posts , I never intend to be offensive in any way and my humour might not be up to everyones taste , but its just me , im a Clown .
