A very small portion of the blame sholus sit with Michael, but he cannot be expected to know all the fine details of player regestration etc. Martin Hall should know every single detail and rule!!!

IMO - nothing to do with Calland, but the directors of the clubs responsibility. They employed him, sorted contracts, and are supposed to know the ins and outs of the RFL legislation.

The only punishment i can see is expulsion, i think if you had a realistic chance of lifting the trophy it might have been a big fine (progression to the next round, more money in the pot was certainly a possibility) and been allowed to continue like Hull were

However the big picture is - what damage will this episode do to your super league application?

It will make us face up to the fact that things have not been and are not right down there, well meaning maybe, but currently unrealistic and with some issues that need urgently addressing.
