so Ian Millward isn't a great coach, just because of his time at the Pies.
So why are we 'at the other end of the table' this season. Is it because of robbie paul, ricky bibey, & the dual registered players ? That is part of the reason, BUT in our 36-6 win at Toulouse yesterday, 13 of the 17 man squad, were from last season's RELEGATED Squad. Ian Millward is a TOP coach.

I'm not denying Millward is a very good coach, Budgiezilla, of course he is. But he's a well known "hot head" who'll blow it ....... eventually. If he is a genuine GREAT coach, with the utmost respect, then he wouldn't be coaching at Leigh. Would he?

Seriously, after a superb few seasons, the last 3 games for you, have been a little bizarre to say the least. I really thought the Hunslet game was a one off. But Fax aren't just losing are they, it's 40+ each time ? Surely the squad/coach haven't become 'terrible' overnight.
You've already ticked on of those stupid bl00dy boxes, is Matt Calland under any REAL pressure. Apart from Miles Greenwood, how many other regulars are you missing ?

Injuries are no excuse.
Alright we have missed 2 key players, Gleeson and Branighan but we should be able to cope without these.

The squad available for last 3 games was good enough to turn out good performances but just haven't.

MC is under pressure, the next 2 games are key for him.

The problem IMO is our go forward from the pack, we saw glimmers of it against Widnes but nothing since. Players like Black and Penky cant do their thing without a pack going forward delivering quick ball.

What's the Answer? well Aizue doesn't seem to be it but Ostick is a positive move. We need to delve into the loan market to address quickly IMO.

If MC can address the pack 'go forward' over the next few games we will be a team again, I hope he can. It's too early for knee jerk reactions, the fellas not stupid he just needs a bit of time and luck.

Its all a real shame though as the crowds are starting to swell with the promise of 2010 all this momentum could be lost
