I understand he's not always present at training, maybe its taking its toll on him

| As a player I rate Sam but the last 2 times I've seen him play he's not looked anywhere near fit.

| What a great game of rugby league by both sides very entertaining shame about the result.I thought we competed outstanding through out. Same old not slammin sam should be slimmin sam the chubby git see the only one he had a go at was 10st jono the smallest player on the pitch good job he did not retaliate it would be off to hospital again most hated player in rugby league behind hock.

Anyway our game last Sunday is history now ,we move on to Wakey on Sunday ,then back to Haven to resume our Quest for top spot.Best Wishes for the rest of the season.Charles.

As for arrogance? Most is harmless banter ,all fans do a couple of seasons ago under Big Karl Fax won around 5 games on the trot
Can't see that TBH think it will be close.Wakefield were dog awful at HKR last week.
What did surprise me though when i saw them live was how much bigger/stronger/
fitter they looked an how they structured their plays with pace, compared to us.

Mr Hall I've only seen Wakey on Sky ,but they are not that bad of a team ,they gave Wigan a dig a few weeks ago and will be up for this game , I respect every team and think Wakey will be very hard to beat, a defeat wouldn't upset me , though a win would be a welcome bonus.

Not sure about your tactic of kicking dead or for touch repeatedly. There was a spell when you were two scores up, where keeping it in play and putting us under more pressure could've won you the game.'"
You're correct there, but only in part I think. I noted a few Fax kicks that set off with back-spin, but somehow managed to kick forward when they landed rather than putting the brakes on. The LSV looks to be a great playing surface, but perhaps it reacts a little differently to what's expected for those not familiar by playing on it every week?
Fax aren't far off the pace in this league (Sheffield game excepted), but just can't do the business at the crucial times. We had enough ball when it was 10 v 10 to win the game, but didn't have the guile to spread the ball and find the gaps with so much space to go at with 6 players missing from the play.

| Btw, I think it will be close between Leigh and Wakefield, with the 2 points start the bookies are giving Leigh looking around right to me.
A bit of advice though. Mixing it might work in the Championship, but if that's the way you go in this one you'll get shown up big style. Stick to what you do best (I hand it to you that your general passing and movement was far better than Fax last weekend) and you have a good chance.
I want Leigh to win for the honour of the Championship, but if Sam is playing then it's Wakefield all the way for me. Any player that spits at opposition fans is beneath contempt and deserves a punishment in equal magnitude of all the players of both sides (put together) that were red-carded last weekend. A butt is a butt, but it was done in the heat of the moment by Tom Armstrong. Sam had 10 minutes in the dressing room to plot his actions at the start of the second half.

You're right, fax should have done damage with the amount of ball they had and amount of space available. In the end, Liam Kay had the pace to take advantage, and make the decisive break, which led to Beswick's try.
