It was 44-64 that one, a weird game but it was the end of the season and both clubs had nothing to play for, unlike the Fev v Sheffield match. Still surprised even with the Cas cup game looming for Fev.

Cheers, lets hope so! Freak of a game, but very enjoyable in a weird way. Only seen a few games like this in the past.
The start of the league campaign is pretty exciting, with you guys unbeaten, but we've seen close results & shock results.
Whoever wins this years campaign has really earned it.

I actually texted three Fev mates on saturday morning to say I thought they'd win a tight match, good luck to them. Things are falling nicely into place for Fev through hard work over the last few years, they'll be the next addition to SL unless Fax can break their stranglehold in the Championship and give them a real headache at Redders.

Neither Fev nor Fax will cause a ripple of pain in Nigel's skull. They will bring out further stringent rules in light of the disasterous return that Widnes have made to SL.

Win GF three years in succession
Win NRC three years in succession
Win the Challenge Cup three years in succession
and for good measure ...............Win the NRL GF three years in succession.
That should protect the clique of clubs in SL.

as much as I think they are a consistantly good performing team their ground can't be anywhere near SL standard. |
