cant he remember to do that or was his mind on injury.'"
Now this will be interesting WILL Calland keep Blacky in on Friday or do the right thing and DROP him???
He is well out of form and that none tackle where he turned his back on the right wing was disgraceful, he should have been hoisted off just for that he did not want to know imo.
Come on Calland is he such a favourite of yours that you dare not drop him???
He must be one of those you are talking about playing themselves out of the team surely???

Only way for him to play to get back into form is to get fully fit.
At the moment he isn't doing what he does so successfully (running at defences, spotting gaps etc) because he is obviously injured. Instead he throws well below passes putting pressure on the rest of the players and doing his own confidence no end of harm. A fit Black would have easily gone past Wobbie and under the posts, I have no doubt, saying that, Paul did incredibly well to get back.

That suprised me, too. Donlan didn't seem to be gaining on Black, and I would have had him as being quicker than Paul, over a distance.

Think we expected that with Wire having the usual busy period over easter. Shouldn't bother us too much over the weekend.

| Leigh played very well in this match. Fax fielded a strong line up but were well beaten on the day. I have no idea what may or may not be going on behind the scenes at Halifax, but I do know they were second in the league going into this match after defeating three of the better teams in the league. Obviously on a Fax board, fans can be expected to focus on their own failings rather than the strengths of their opponents, but just wanted to say that Leigh have pasted quite a number of teams this season, including Fev and will most likely will continue to do so. They are favourites to top the table and win the Northern Rail Cup. Halifax may well have their problems, but to dwell on those completely, does detract somewhat from just how far Leigh have come in such a short space of time. I can understand people viewing Leigh based on last season, but that is now firmly in the past and this year they are a very good side at this level. You are not the first and will not be the last team to be hammered by Leigh. They have the best pack in the league, a lot of very underrated backs a very experienced leader in Paul and a very astute coach in Ian Millward. Some very good players were missing for Leigh yesterday eg. Steve Nash, Durbin, Higson etc so they also have the squad. The club have basically added seven players who played in Super League last year and allied to Millward, that quality is bound to help massively. Well played Leigh.

You're training regime is also at least a month ahead everybody else.

Or if the weather's affecting things, no times a week.........
Jeeez, some folks. If you "think" this, why do you need someone else to clarify it for you ?

I doubt if Leigh train 5 times a week on the 3g's, they may train 5 times including gym/swimming sessions, they definitely train there on Wednesday evening and Saturday morning, don't know about any other times, that's just the times I've seen them, but the 3g's are heavily booked in the Evenings, as well as Leigh Centurions, Leigh East (U7's - 3 open age teams plus girls), Genesis (not sure how many teams), 5-a-side league's (mon & fri), all wanting to use it, it's also been used by Wire, Saints, Pies, latic's but that's during the day.
No doubt with the weather improving and the light nights they'll be moving from the 3g to grass, hopefully we'll see some improvement then.
