Well looked at the weather forecast for Saturday this morning and the weather does not look too bad. So all the people on here that thought it was a good idea to get out into town and promote the club PM on here please. Lets all wear blue and white I have confirmed with Woolshops we are coming.

I am going to postpone the Woolshops date as we are unable to get handouts printed in time and as next week it`s the gala it could be the week after.I will PM all the people who have volunteered to help and thanks very much.

Yes there are going to be players at the Gala I beleive.Also any of the people who have PMd me about helping out I am sure you could help out at the Gala if you wish.There will be hand outs ready for next week and if there are a few helpers we could chat to people and encourage them to come down to the Shay.

Also, how about offering tickets online with a £1 discount (and not then charge £1 admin like Cas do!)

That way we get the revenue even if they dont actually turn up for the game.

Ive seen these before, Cant you change the banking instructions to a direct debit? Then you can put the cca info online & they wont need a signature?

You are reading this wrong. It's not 'A' reliable volunteer, there are 2 that I can think of off the top of my head. What constructive work is done by these could easily be covered by a Part Time employee who is committed to doing the job right due to it being their paid employment.

We also need a Full Time Marketing/Promotions/Sponsorship/PR person who should easily bring in far more than their wage, so long as they have a proven track record.

But what exactly would you see this persons particular aims to be ?

You say ' Marketing ' ?

Promotions ?

Sponsorship ?

Public relations ?

Can you explain how one person can achieve all these things on their own and what sort of budget they would have / need to have to achieve anything ?
