| Potentially delighted with that - I wouldn't be surprised now to see us unload at least one forward as while you will always need strength in depth when everyone is fit we will have a number of good forwards who won't even get close to the 17

| On the face of it a great signing, however it does throw up some points of interest.
Obviously AT has proved his worth and has been unlucky with previous club choices, one not of his making, the latter if correct making way for an alleged better player. However one has to ask, if fax were the bottom of the paying scale what has driven him to sign again, has he been promised continued game time to put himself in the shop window again?
The other question for me is where do fax keep finding the money? He won’t have come cheap, or is their a benefactor we do not know about who has deeper pockets than the current BoD.
Do not get me wrong I would rather he play for than against, and hope he does damage in the best way by scoring points and helping the Panthers upwards .

Sometimes money is not the most important aspect for a player. I would imagine this is the case here and I don't think his reason for leaving was ever about money but more to try and better himself and test himself at higher levels.
Money wise there is an interview on Youtube with Ian Croad and if I remember rightly he says that we had done very well money wise with the current squad and there wwere money still available to bring in new players. If we think about it logically we have got rid of a lot of players who have been here a number of years and I doubt they signed reduced contracts every other year so that probably freed up more money than the current players cost. We have what looks like a pretty good squad and are starting to add some strength in depth so lets see what them and Simon Grix has got.

| We may see one or two going out on loan deals to get some game time over the next couple of months or so and SG settles on his real first choices.

| GFB et al, I am as happy as anyone else Fax have snapped up a player who most regard as one of the best in the Championship,
I am not doubting that AT has fondness for playing in the Blue and White, but people should not be naive to think he has taken reduced wages to resign for love, he needs a liveable wage and if the BoD and Mr Croad has assembled the squad they have on the money Fax have well done to them, I like others think Fax/Panthers deserve to feed off the top table and it seems this something the present BoD can achieve given a little luck and a fair crack. For too long HRLFC have been unfairly treated by the know all's and certain CEO's who feed off said top table.
I really believe SG Mr Croad and the Board have recruited well this year, and after the poor start hope Fax get flying and give themselves every chance of the promised land .

| I would be surprised if Wakefield aren't making a contribution to his wage, they were desperate to get him off their quota and paying part of his wage rather than paying up his contract seems a good option for all parties.

| Good signing for us. Well done to those who made it happen.
Now we need AT to remind us of how good he is!
