Doubt it both Wakey and Bradford will want to get 4th spot and the home game for the million pound match which will be a big advantage especially for Wakey as not many teams below SL have won at a SL ground I think just Barrow at Cas and Leigh at Wakey in the cup can't recall any other wins away? But I think Sheffield could do Wakey at home, especially if we have managed to beat Bradford the day before as Wakey will have nothing to play for.
Widnes will want to go out with a win and will probably beat Leigh.
As for us we want to beat Bradford and get 6th spot and the extra £300K plus funding which is HUGE for us, never mind the bragging rights over our most bitter rivals!
Go for it lads lets finish on a huge high. |

Guys does anyone have a link or anything to confirm the central funding issue? I always thought it was based on the league standings before the super 8s started rather than where each team finished after the super 8s had been played...

Effectively fifth place in the qualifiers gets what 1st place in the Championship got in previous years. They couldn't do it based on the league standings before the 8s as it wouldn't have been able to take into account any promotion and relegation without some serious bodge jobs.

Thought it was 450k for 8th and 500k for seventh ? Remember thinking at time the minimum we need from these playoffs is not finish bottom. |

If it was, you could get into $uperleague with Championship funding. Which wouldn't be good.

No -it's a mathematical fact. If Bulls draw, they'll have seven points. Which means Wakefield will need to lose to drop below them. Which means that we'll win and have four points. So your draw against Bradford will leave you below us.

Is correct and a massive 787k for 6th.Bradford game is a 300k game. |
