They dont travel in great numbers. Will be surprised if they bring more than 500. I reckon the attendance will be between 4 and 5k.

FA cup always turns up a shock or two, often on the telly, Halifax have nowt to lose, if they get tonked its cos they're 4 leagues below charlton, if charlton get beat they get embarassed

While I'm not suggesting the RFL are going to get the Cup competing with the FA Cup, in just Round One a part-time Division 6 team will be getting £100k from it, all the prize details are available to see from the TV revenue to the winning fee for that round, all the crowd have to pay to get in and aren't just free for one team and the game isn't as much of a foregone conclusion as some think due to Football not trying it's best to make it a couple of leagues will all the talent and skill and pulling it further and further away from the lower teams (well there's debate in that regarding the Premiership, but Football does have a lot of development going on and good players filtering down divisions more so than in RL because it's competitive and the money's a bit more spread around in the Championship, L1, L2 & BSP). Fax Town could certainly earn a replay from this.

Meanwhile the RFL have their thumbs up their s, everyone argues with each other off the pitch and there's a complete lack of excitement from a host of fans and on-lookers about the game resultings in poor crowds.
