| All these backs & half backs signing tells me the talks for forwards are ongoing with most of our current lot or those involved in the play offs still.
Good fun with the rumours that are going around though.....

| Think you'll be announcing the signing of a new Winger shortly.

Would be very surprised if he goes anywhere else but to you guys. And this isnt an attempt at rumour mongering.

| He's a good player but not the sort of player we need with Rob and White already in place.

Had a cracking season for us Hitchy, but quite surprised he's gone (if it is confirmed to Fax) when you've re-signed White and Worrincy.
Wayne's strong, brave, wholehearted, never stops looking for work and pacy, but because of his style, isnt a 20+ try a season man like like the aforementioned too. Gives you strength in depth on the wings though I guess.

Anybody we know, and like the old joke says. Don't call him shortly.

| Good player, but whether or not he'll get in the first team is another story what with White and Worrincy signed up. Can he play any other positions besides wing?

| Casting aside ALL potential bitterness in a bid to avert the accusation of said emotion from you Fax fans, I'm not remotely disappointed to lose Reittie and Robinson. They wouldn't have been on my list of 'must keeps'. Robinson is deceptive - he looks like he is going to skittle defenders due to his bustling style, but do to a general lack of size he is lucky to make it past the first defender he meets. He probably makes a lot less yards during a game than the much-maligned Cherryholme. Oh, and he's very, very injury prone. You'll be lucky to see him in action more than 9 or 10 times in 2012 - see his Dewsbury and Batley previous.
Reittie is alright, but for a wingman has a lack of genuine pace and isn't a try-scorer. He'd actually do a better job in the second-row, as for some reason he tries to run through defenders as opposed to around them, a la Worrincy, White, or for that matter, the majority of wingmen. Its noticeable that the virtually ineffectual and invisible Lee Greenwood scored more tries for us in 2010 than Reittie managed in 2011 - and in less appearances. Can't quite understand why Harrison has signed him for Halifax, as White and Worrincy are pretty much on a different planet in terms of quality.
Genuinely no bitterness involved here - Manning, another recruit from ourselves, is an excellent acquisition.

I agree with your comments about wayne. Think you are being a little harsh on Robbo. Although he has had quite a few injury problems this year.

| I liked Reittie, he was great to watch. KH will play him as he is the nearest thing to a winger who plays in KH's own image.
Robinson was a great impact prop who had the ability to change games, will be sad for him to go, if he does.

| Got to disagree completely on Robinson, Distant Dog. He's nowhere near great - he just doesn't have the size to be effective and I can't remember him changing any games he was introduced into, apart from the Hunslet home game. When he comes up against the big boys, like Chris Hill and Mills, Stringer and Howieson, Tonks and Dickens etc..., he's completely ineffectual. Its all very well looking good against sides like Hunslet, York and Dewsbury, buts its a different kettle of fish when he plays against the leagues better sides. Like I said, all hustle and bustle and little real impact.

| Wayne always looks dangerous against us.....he makes many yards froward and is tough to tackle.
if he has signed i would welcome it, but with our outside backs i cant see him playing in the 3 quarters,
second row for me.
