I would be happy with Him as well, Maybe thats why he put the spanner in the works for Finn, so he could come himself.
He may be 37 years old but i remember only a few seasons ago what a massive difference it made bringing Graham Holroyd out of retirement. If this gets confirmed then my cash will be parted with for the season ticket. Currently I'm hanging on to find out whats going on with the structure.

So long as it's a "pay per play" deal I'd certainly give him a go. He seems the type of guy who would keep himself fit and could go ok for a season at Championship level and the experience he would pass on could be immeasurable. Add to that the spark he may add in attack and the crowd-pulling element and what do we have to lose?
He needs to grow his dreadlocks back though so we can market Longy Wigs. (We missed that opportunity with Freddie Tuilangi).

It sells books, if he had said he helps old ladies across the road and stands on street corners selling badges for help the ages would you have preferred him then?
I think it's what we need, it's a signing that would excite people, and that's what we need at the moment, please let it happen.
I don't think it will.

Interesting comments regarding him and Finn on here. Think you will find out Finn didn't want to leave Fev for Fax although he was told he could go
Regarding Sean Long although a good player in his day if your building for the 2015 push he's not the type you need to sign

Seeing Lee Briers has just announced his Retirement, I Would rather have him than Longy any day, Thought his last couple of yrs in S/L he was Excellent even though he was a pain against us. He could still do a job for us if he changes his mind !
