I have a small wager on us lodged at 40-1, which I guess I don't really expect to cash in on, but regard as a great "value" bet. 40 goes at it, I'd expect we'd come out on top at least once with the team and coach we have?

The Championship looks good for next year, most teams have strengthened (I fear for a couple), and it should be a cracker!!

Don't understand why Fev are fancied above Fax. A 1, 6, 7 of Craven, Briggs (allegedly) and Thackeray sounds very good but I just don't see them competing in the forwards. With the exception of Griffin and Bostock their pack looks extremely average. Doesn't matter how good your halfbacks are if you are soft up the middle.

Sparky look how wrong I was with my prediction ,this year I think the Championship Clubs won't be taken by surprise as much by Fax,your New recruits are at best average by other teams new players,it will be much harder for Fax next season .Leigh stand out head and shoulders above the rest,Bradford will be strong , I'm not sure about Sheff and Fev,though I like the look of Dews for next season,my bet with Mr Jagger ?I wish I could treble it, I think he made the bet out of Bravado rather than good judgement,but sometimes those bets pay off , though not this time.
I'm really looking forward to next season,I feel Fax have gone for quanitty not quality next season,and it may be a negative tactic,I hope I'm wrong as I think Rich Marshall is a good Coach, I'm just a bit baffled at why you haven't spent your Funding cash on a couple of quality players.

Those odds are from Skybet and therefore pretty irrelevant, nobody with half a clue will be able to get a significant bet on with them especially in a niche market such as Championship rugby league, and they were probably scribbled down in 5 minutes on the back of a cigarette packet. There are several other anomalies in that list - Halifax should be 3rd favs, London are much too short, and there's no way Batley or Workington should be double the price of the two promoted teams (not that I'm interested in backing either, just the 2 teams coming up should be even bigger prices).

Good afternoon Mr Hall , hope you are well?I'm not being cocky ,I'm always wary of every team last season I forecast a defeat for Leigh in the League I didn't know where it would happen but said it would, and it will happen again.I agree in no way are we a 9-2 on shot,that's a very bad price, however I don't make the Book,and picking who will take Top spot of us , you would be a very brave man.As for Fax I can see why Fax fans are very optimistic for next season , but teams will be wary of you next season, m see 4th spot for you .

Nice to hear from you GFB as for blowing cash?As you know Derek B has already spent a fair few quid , but he stated on Tuesday night another signing was on the cards yet, and also 2 more players would be leaving the Club , so maybe come the middle 8s next year Derek will have an ace or 2 up his sleeve to add to our already impressive squad, apparently our season ticket sales are going very very well.As for Fax?I just feel RM has set his sights a bit low with the new signings, Grix has plenty to prove, Smeaton not the player he was, Sharp has speed but lacks size and presence, and Gaz Moore?Enough said, I'm not a fan,just my opinion, anyway good luck for next season.I will invest Mr Jaggers 100 pound wisely.
