Yep that 76-12 home defeat by us was one of those 'ouch' moments, the turnaround by you lot has been momumental. Shows what a backer can do for a club with potential.

Toulose are one of the form teams in the league at the moment.If they carry on with this kind of form till the end of the season they will be in the mix for a good play off position.And the rfl have said that you only have to compete in a play off final to be eligable for the 2012 franchise spot.

You dont have to be a rocket scientist to relise what that would mean they had a crowd of nearly 3000 there tonight and we all know expansion is the name of the game concerning applications.

So fax could go all season unbeat and win the grand final but if the french team are there oposition in the final that would be very concerning for every other club for the next two seasons as we have seen with the crusaders the rfl dont give a didly squat who they upset when choosing the winning franchise team.

This post aint meant to pee on your parade just to give you a idea of what a sucessful Tolouse side means to the rest of us who are hoping for that goal of superleague in 2012.

I don't think anyone on here is under any illusion as to what a successful Toulouse side will mean. All we can do is try and tick as many boxes as we can - the rest is up to the God's at Red Hall.

Imagine if Toulose make the grand final, thats going to be a pretty poor crowd and atmosphere whoever they play.

As far as I'm aware, you've never spent a season lower than 2nd tier and you've had several years in SL.

We MIGHT lose 1 0r 2 games, you can't be certain we will.

Barrow probably will get better as the season progresses, theres nothing to say eveybody else won't either.

Strange comment saying you have room for 4 more players, all players will want paying different so not sure how you work out you can afford 4 more. Thats said i've no doubt you will bring some more quality in towards the business end of the season as we have done previously e.g Gleeson.

I don't think that Fax, Fev or Leigh will ever get into Super League under current Red Hall guidelines. They are hellbent on 'expansion' and I think they will be wanting to REDUCE the number of SL teams in Yorkshire.

Leigh are just too close to Wigan - again that wouldn't be expansion.

Widnes have an outside chance as have a Cumbria team - if anyone get's their act together sufficiently.

Toulouse would be seen as expansion, even though I don't think there'll be sufficient talent in France to sustain 2 x SL teams in the forseeable future. Therefore, a strong Aussie contingent would be ever present.

For the 2012 season (as long as qualifying rules are met by these clubs) I think that it will be either Toulouse, Widnes or a Cumbrian team.

For 2015 I can see a Scottish and an Irish team throwing their hats into the ring.

Just going on the fact we missed out on the 3 Fijians and have also sacked Ian Bell. They will all have been on a good contract.
