Is anyone sure that the club give out freebies of any kind? Can you prove it?

Your club by the looks of it, both these individuals leaving without any real explanation is worrying.

Both will be waiting for Michael Steele to return from his foreign trip before commenting. We do things with a little bit more decorum in Yorkshire pal.

Being totally honest. While I was on the board, I had a season ticket for 1 season and not the 2nd. I never got to watch a whole match due to helping out in one area or another of The Shay, and often travelled down from Hartlepool on a match day and I thought the amount of money I was spending on Sponsorship and the amount of time I invested in helping the club, more than compensated for the lack of a Season Ticket for games I was only watching for 20/30 mins.

I NEVER got and was NEVER offered a free meal on Match Days and the only Freebie I can think of was the RFL Away Day paid for by the RFL.

What DID disgust me was when expensive 3/4 length coats were being given out to some people by the shop, which I declined to take.

I know of free tickets given away to people. but they tend to be players tickets which they are entitled to and if they have no use for them, they are passed on to others who they usually know anyway.

Then there's Neil who organises the coaches who is given a free ticket to Raffle on the Coach and who (I BELIEVE) gets a ticket too, but who can possibly deny for the the amount of money he regularly raises and which (I BELIEVE) is an agreement dating back to The Taverners days. My apologies if this is wrong, but if it's correct, I certainly wouldn't have an issue with it.

Graham Clay was the best thing to happen to this club in a long long time IMO and Howard, as we all know, is a very well respected businessman. It's a shame they've gone.

So basically 2 people have left on the same weekend, key men, no news is coming out, and we have some unclear cryptic message about 'not as doom and gloom' as we might think...(hinting an element of gloom and doom by inference)
Do any of you pro 'everything fax' croud, with tenious and loose links to people at the club or within office roles and have some personal aversion to speaking frankly or smelling the coffee have any idea how this kind of thing looks to outsiders?
Ill tell you.... It looks like we haven't got a clue! The Club should quite rightly be criticised for abysmal communication, once again, if this were the city, stocks and shares would have plummeted, its amateur at best, they must think we were born yesterday.
Who the heck is in charge? and if they are away, who is deputy, this is shoddy, and unfortunately, its become the norm for us.
