Is it true that Batley have signed Ben Fisher?

Batley announcement tomorrow. I think this is great. It's good to see clubs down here recruiting quality - it's going to be a good season. Please please please fans - turn up and watch The Championship - there's some good people running these clubs to ensure that the game survives outside SL.

Keighley have a tidy squad for next season IMO and will shock a few sides.

This is the best squad we've put together in 14-15 years. I've never been so optimistic. I'd be disappointed if we didn't make the play-offs, I think we're capable of making the top 5.

The Cougars are looking good for 2012. However, I just hope that fans aren't being led down the garden path by directors who are gambling with the clubs fortunes - as has been the case on more than one occasion in the past. I trust the former SL playes you have signed are on match payments only, and not contracts - that would be utter folly.

Good signing for Fev, but a shame he didn't cut it as Super League

Even with the injury to Nanyn, Fax still have two goalkickers that are far better than what most Championship Clubs have. Tyrer and Patterson are both brilliant goalkickers, but one of them will be under utilised if they both play. I can't understand why Danny Jones was sometimes preferred to Lee Patterson for the goal kicks last season?
I don't think either of them would get into the Fev team however. Briggs and Finn are not as accurate, but their general on-field play is streets ahead.
