I think that is key here and I agree with you. Fax play a very entertaining style of rugby but are going to have off day's when things dont go well, mistakes are made and the opposition take full advantage of it. HRLFC have earned a lot of respect from supporters of other clubs given the brand of rugby they play but it does have its risks and any lack in confidence will see more and more mistakes creep in.

Nope, im a season ticket holder and can remember watching Joe Kilroy and Geoff Robinson, I've seen highs and lows, Ive watched us from Nottingham, Limoux and Wembley to Toulouse, and want to see more highs, Barrow were poor against us, I was more impressed with us against Dewsbury where we showed patience, control and good defence, I think we have too many 'off the cuff' players, not enough defensive talent and too many aging forwards who lack the energy of some of the other sides. Were a great attacking team on our day, a joy to watch. I would be much happier with more young players in the forwards of the Ostick and Maloney ilk, and i think we could lose a few of the loose cannons and still have enough guile with Branighan, Gleeson and people like Bowman coming through to build a propper side. Were not built to win ugly, but unfortunately in all sports, some days you have to. Matt has all his eggs in one basket and its naive. Were building teams for 12 month periods, id prefer to see us take a step back and clear the decks at the end of the year, bring in a decent coach who can get us organised, remove some of the bad apples, sort the wheat from the chaff and move forward, we have guys who are good individually, who may get on well off the field, but like Fabio says 'when you make wine the grapes are always different' im afraid the current batch wont make a vintage, time to replant.

p.s. I am also massively impressed with what Neil Aspin has done for Town, it just proves that the right man in the hot seat can change fortunes quickly. I dont consider it a sin to like sport in general, nobody would be happier than me to see the honours board with a new entry on it. We should play to win, not just to entertain.

Hey how I wish it was different but as its pretty common knowledge that the club have lost about £50K after the Challenge Cup debacle and went out early in the NRC then we can't be in too good a financial position can we???

Well have to agree to disagree, this fax fan is not for turning,

we need a coach who organises, can get sides defending and doesn't let sentiment come anywhere near his profession.

But, well just have to wait this one out and we can all look back and remember dads army, the great under achievers, the missed opportunities and just how bad was our defence in the late 'noughties'

Jeez if I did not have a clue then lets hope I am wrong then eh (which I do hope as I don't want the club to struggle), but look at the facts on the table:- We went out of the NRC early, got chucked out of the CC and lost a home game against Batley at the last minute costing how much and our crowds are down this season.
Not hard to work out we are not well off is it?
We don't have a Des Johnson or Eddie Stobbards so its money we cannot afford to lose.
Us the fans need to help which I do my best. I am just saying things are not rosy in the garden, its like the rest of the RL world really it is struggling.

Calling for the coaches head and claiming we are skint is really going to help. Suprised you don't get a certificate from the RFL for your efforts.
