I've been told that several years ago (I don't have dates,sorry) that HRLFC paid the rent for the Football Club! If that is true why didn't the FC fans thank the board then. Does any remember this happening?

Yes - it was a long time ago - we were in Super League at the time!!

It wasn't so much that we paid the rent, it was a case of covering the non-payment of rent by the football club when they were in administration. Despite this Fax still owed the Shay Stadium Trust money when it wound up, though not a lot.

In any case, even if Town did this several years ago, that in itself doesn't justify us doing it now. You can't claim the BOD are businessmen on the one hand but they excuse them acting like school children in the playground on the basis of 'tit for tat'.

What is the excuse this time? Before it was 'they pay less than us' or 'the pitch is unplayable' or 'where is our scoreboard'? or ' we will have it deducted off the sale price'
