Mate, if 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever post what they think it's hardly a "set of fans" and you know how you hate everybody being tarred with the same brush as what happened over the "incident."
When I post it's just my opinion and that's all and no I don't think Fax are set for world domination or domination of any kind.
I also hope that no other club is either as no contests would not be good for the game but only in my opinion.
I have time for Fev as a club and as fans for a number of reasons.
In some ways we are very similar.
First, historically we have a great heartland rugby league tradition.
Second, geographically we are thought of as the lesser of so called bigger clubs.
Third, for the last few years Fev have been steadily building both on and off the field with remarkable progress.
Fourth, at the moment Rovers are just about as good as it gets at this level on the field.
Fifth, I personally know and work with Fev supporters who are top blokes and would do anything to help me out if I got in a fix and I would do the same for them.
Finally a good few years ago now when I went back into construction from shall we say other duties I worked in the houses right along side of post office road,
They had a communial heating system that ran through the lofts and tee'd off to feed each property and I upgraded loads of these to seperate systems.
During that time of course I got to know the residents with rugby league a daily topic and had a great relationship, they were just straight up and down folks, some tough buggers amongst them but no different from anywhere else.
Last night the game could have and almost was over by half time.
Eagles went very close on a couple of occasions to finnishing it.
Second half the Fax forwards finally got stuck in and got on top for longer periods of the game.
Bearing in mind we lost Luke Ambler midway through the first half, Sam Barlow had been nursing a knee injury with ice packs on his knee for most of the week and with only Aizue left for bulk on the bench it was a massive effort which gave the halves some room to work in and come back from the dead.
Yes we got out of jail, the emphasis on "we got out of jail" Eagles didn't leave the cell doors open for us to walk out we had to batter them down and did.
Fev v Fax at Blackpool.
At the moment if we played next week Fev by 4 or maybe 5 scores.
If things stay as is again Fev by 4 or 5 scores whenever we play the game.
In a few weeks time who knows what will have transpired.
Injuries to either side.
Fev may dip in form.
Fax may pick up in form.
The unpredictable nature of Fax anything could happen.
A few weeks to go with plenty to play for in between and on the day lets hope it's a cracking game and we all enjoy the day.
