...and that says it all. A trip to POR is the very opposite of what a day at a rugby league game should be.

I know we don't know each other and the point is you should feel comfortable to wear what ever you want and it is a poor state of affairs when you don't. However i will be going on sunday and if you would like to meet up in your fax shirt i will make sure that no harm or intimidation comes your way. The vast majority of fev fans are decent people and it would be a real shame for you to change your behavior for a minority of idiots.

Just wonder how the lad is these days who was assaulted many years ago after the final ,,,,dave Stinger? ? Unfortunately at fev there has always been a certain minority element. Shame the name of the person responsible was never coughed up. Never say never though someone in a pub will know the answer and may decide to do the decent thing one day .
I think anything under 20 points loss is a moral victory but I can see it being a very hard day at the office

I spoke to Dave (Singer) on Tuesday over the phone in his care home and not withstanding his long term medical issues he is in good spirits.
We always mention Fax and FC Town as he is a big Town supporter.

Bentleyman is well capable of looking after himself. The point is he isn't comfortable wearing his Fax shirt at one, and only one, ground in Rugby League. That is wrong from so many angles and is a problem for the Featherstone club as much as any individual supporter. It is up to the people over there to do summat about it but they've had eleven years to do it and nowts happened yet.

To be fair I had not really thought about it until readng the comments but I probably won't be wearing a Fax top either. I will be shouting myself horse from the terraces though to make up for it.

I am well aware of the point he is making about feeling uncomfortable wearing is fax shirt and who is to blame for this. With the fire you have in your belly about this we could do with you playing this week or better still letting you loose in the family stand.

This will be a very tough game for us to win we have to focus on trying to do the basic better then fev. Running harder tackling harder and working harder to give us a chance of winning but even then we will be up against it.

An error ridden game.
Fax scored two purlers worthy of a mention and WH had a blinder.
Best turn out from fax in a while helped the crowd to 3.2k

We just had more up front

Nobody expected us to win that one but I thought it were a poor performance with far too many basic errors. Fev were physically far too big and strong for us though and stature wise they look every bit a SL team. We continue to have the same problems with the halves moved about and Simon Grix threw JWH under a bus having him defend against Hall so I was glad that in attack he was our one bright spark. He needs to be at FB but with Grix coasting until retirement maybe we just have to wait till next season. I thought McComb and Worthington had decent games and Salty tried hard but our pack was just dominated.

We looked to have picked up a lot of knocks in that game and it is going to be a giant ask to go up to Haven and get a result. The thing is if we can get 3rd place and beat London, I just have this sneaky feeling we are capable of going over to Fev and if we put in a far better performance we might just give them a really close game.
