I can't comment on his driving ability (is that what has caused your comments?), but he's been a stalwart in the team this year. Not the fastest player (found out by the Salford wingers, but he was far from alone there), but solid in defence and awesome with his "go forward". Star quality SL player? No. High quality Championship player who always gives his all? Absolutely.

Maybe the H&S officer needs a quiet word.

If you've got a problem with Ben have a word with him. Don't come on here slagging his playing ability. You're making yourself look daft.

I don't think Ben's form in the second half of season replicated
what he had produced earlier.That's not mean't as a criticism just an observation and i expect him to come back even stronger next year.

I have to agree with that comment and once again it's not a criticism. I wouldn't want to criticise anything or anyone after finishing 4th, although (having never played the game) I don't understand why Ben seems to go into every attacking run with his head down as if he's a yard from the try line.

They looked to be a few guys off the pace Saturday and what with injuries and players playing out of position the tank looks to be running on fumes at the minute. Hopefully we can keep going right to the end but it shouldn't take any gloss of a memorable season.

To finish on a slightly negative note, one concern for me is Saltys propensity to royally feck up on a fairly regular basis whether it be poor carries or brain farts........one for the gaffer over the winter to sort out maybe?
