The whole team as to a man they tackled their hearts out in tough conditions today, good effort.

tbh alot of players were on form today we needed to be agree about Bracek and Ambler was great as usual but went for these guys as they shephereded the defence manificently in the 2nd half and kaye has come on leaps and bounds this season

One thing that stands out from this match and the Leigh match is our fitness is 100% better this season and better than the clubs we have played so far.

Didn't get to the game but from what I could gather from Radio Leeds the boys put in a very professional performance, especially second half.

Glad to see Matty Place got his name on the scoresheet and a few other players getting mentions for a change like Moore, Bracek and Saltonstall.

TBH I've always thought Bracek to be pretty limited and prone to coming up with errors however he seems to be taking his chance. Early days I know but is Bracek one example of RM being able to bring the best out of his players?

Batley have been a bogey team in the past and next week sees the visit of another bogey team, Featherstone. Another win would really put a marker down in what will be another difficult game.

On a different note I was pleased to hear RM in a Fax TV interview say his was dissapointed with players congratulating opposition players when they come up with a mistake.....spot on Richard!

I wud give the entire defence the Man of Match. That was what won us game.
Reluctant to say anything bad about any individual but did think kicking game was poor in 1st half. Everything down Batleys throat.
2nd half Place took more responsibility for kicks and we were far better. Add that to the try he scored & I'd if pushed to give a man of match it wud be him.
Would also give a special mention to Ben Kaye who is now looking like a hooker.

Tyrer - stunning defensive effort
Murrell - kicking game, especially after the break
Greenwood - all round solid game

You must have gone to the same game as RM while others like John/Norton and
me went to another.
