There's no negativity from me. I doubt that the BOD are concerned one jot about my stance. We look like we've got a top four spot. We're playing a great style of attacking rugby. Crowds are slowly on the up, and as one poster on here forecast at the start of the season, we will have our biggest gate of the year next week. I just hope that I am there to cheer the best team anywhere to victory over the bullys. Up The Fax! l

No one on this forum or any Fax supporter has said they are in favour of dual reg, all except one I believe have said if it's there and it works to our advantage then reluctantly use it.
Richard has been very selective in its use.
Look at the situation from Richards and the boards point of view.
In his first stint as a Head Coach he wants to be successful. Success this year is finishing in the top four.
The board want success and are prepared to back up their bold decision to appoint Richard.
We will finish in the top four.
Would we have done this without the small proportion of the use of D/R?
Would we have finished in the top four without Richard?
Who knows?
But an ambitious Head Coach and a board who have tried very hard to appease us fans for our dissatisfaction over the previous three years quite rightly (in my humble opinion) have used whatever is available to them to ensure top four and the riches that will help us in the future.
At the start of the season on the original post about D/R a lot of us argued about it, my last comment was "Dual Reg is here embrace it" quite rightly I got shot down by my friend Marillion Man. I should have said "Dual Reg is here get used to it"
I do not believe at any time have Hull KR said "you have to use this player"
I do not believe that Huddersfield have ever said "you must take this player on loan"
Blinkered as I am I can't see a great deal of difference between D/R and the loan system in the way that Fax have used it.

D/R is not ideal, but it's there, use it.

I always try and listen to the argument and then make a choice on how to respond.

The question that I ask myself is.

If DR is so absolutely wrong.

How could I just boycott the games of my own team when they use it.

Is it okay to attend the games when my team don't use it but the opposition does?

Do I not watch any games where DR players are involved even on TV?

How far do I take it?

Is any of what I am doing actually a stance against DR as a whole or is it really just against the club I support which in itself is a contradiction in terms.

For Fax DR just gives the coaching staff an option to ask if their partner club has a player available usually because they are short, they can either say yes we have or no we haven't.

Even if they say yes, RM decides if the player offered fits the bill and if not he would ask a different club and he knows it will be on a temporary basis, all he is doing each week is trying to put out the strongest side he can, preferably form within or if required with outside assistance.

He looked a bit more settled and confident today, fitted in well at half back and guided us round the pitch well, as with everybody the more he plays the better he will get.

Looked like some of his family there as well as he came to the side of the pitch when the game finished.
