I didn't deserve Halifax. Only the cream of the crop get to stay there. I'm such a buffoon that the authorities sent me to Stockport, Cheshire. Right now I'm an asbo away from being moved to Widnes. They let me back into Halifax 12 times a year so i cram those visits in during the RL season. Those who remain in Halifax are the chosen few - the lucky ones. The ones who live in the greatest Town on Earth, residing in God's own great County - Yorkshire. The Holy Grail, The Ark and the Shroud are all buried there.

I think the club would be gutted to lose Penky, it's just the Worrier putting their spin on things. At the end of the day the standard RFL contract for players in our division does have a 'Super League' get out clause in it, and if Penky wants out then he can, providing the clubs can agree compensation. Nothing to be gained from putting too high a price on him if he does want to go, as they will end up with no compensation payment AND a p!ssed off player on the books to boot.
