To be honest i thought a draw wouldve been a fair result based on our performance from the 60th minute and Fax prior to that I thought we were done at 22-6
Second half changed when Ashall got sent off as he was your best forward by far and we stepped up a gear and seemed to find a bit more space despite going 22-6 down shortly after
Ashall was definately missed more than Haley
Think fitness told in the end in the last 10 minutes and it showed, we took our second half chances which we created or were given to us by Fax
But it wasnt a good Fev or Fax performance by far, a lot of things for both coaches to work on, but as an advertisement for the game and the championhsip it was unbelieveable!'"
Absolute bob on! I don't think Fev fans would have grumbled if Fax won that game and even though I was dissappointed, the way Fev came back and took their chances they deserved to win. |

Too right, if anything it'll re-iterate that we have to take our chances, concentrate until the hooter and set up right for short kick offs without Haley.
It's the first Fax game I've been to this year and I was very impressed, not just with the performances but for the spirit of the team. It's clear for all to see, when we score they are genuinely overjoyed and when we concede they are genuinely frustrated. Certainly no lack of desire or effort and that is as speccies putting our hands in our pockets want. I was also impressed with the lads on the bench and the staff on the sideline being visibly involved too! |

Just watched the first half on the DVD, and we were brilliant in many aspects but we definitely need to cut out those mistakes and also have a bit more organization and planning when we get onto the oppositions try line, we missed out on 4 or 5 'should have been tries' on Sunday. Apart from that we played very very well.

Some good tries but the one from Paul White was special, what a take and run out from Ryan Fieldhouse it was terrific see it on the Courier website.
I have noticed that the south stand has less fans in it now but there are more in the east stand, good for the club as more brass! |

We've conceded one or two spectacular tries last season from attacking kicks in the opponents 20. But White's try had it all, the initial break, support, back up, acceleration and finish.
I'm still enthusing about Sunday's game. If that was in the NRL the telly lads would be going ape about it and that game would have been hailed as a contender for game of the season.
Pure theatre. Shame there was a loser.
well, when I say shame.......
