Barlow did not make the differance last night, yes he had a soild game and managed to keep his temper after being given some rough stuff, i actaully think sheffied played worse becasue they were concentrating in Sam rather than playing the game!

I have always liked Mark Aston, but he was asked about the game and all he did was dribble on about Honesty and Integrity, blah, blah, blah and then about Brendan Lindsey. Not one single mention about Halifax at all. Mark take defeat graciously, your team was well and truly beaten, Barlow aside.

At the end of the game, Aston, in his grey suit, looked & sounded like a 2nd hand car dealer...

The only regret I have about Barlow playing is that it gives Aston an excuse for not giving credit where it is due.
We played them off the park last night and managed an above 80% completion rate which is practically unheard of for us so it shows we can do it, and we'll need to next Sunday.

We only have Aston's word to his own honesty and integrity.

I'm pretty sure that I heard Bill Arthur say somewhere near the beginning of the game that both clubs had come to an 'arrangement' over Barlow.
