I go to most away games but luckily I was working tonight. At the very least I would of wanted my money back and not just a voucher as what happens if for some reason you cannot make the replay ??? Obviously with the price of fuel it is not a cheap trip and like Swifty said some have now been twice !!!!

As ive mentioned on another thread the problem was due to a substation fault and nothing to do with the club or floodlights.

If it was a substation fault then whitehaven can claim loss of business etc.from the elecey board and this should be passed onto the people who went to the game. Ithink the individuals can claim but i would have tolook that up.

Oh, don't worry about the real facts mate. Anyway, thats the least of your problems - Matt Calland will be on Radio Leeds as we speak, not only slating your club for having faulty floodlights, but also your players tackling technique within the 7 minutes of the match that got played.

Nah mate. I actually have a real soft spot for your mob, which stems from knowing a few of your current players on a friendly basis and having worked in Fax for a few years. I just find the farcical things that seem to go on at your club (i.e. Callands rants, cup-tied players, fire alarms etc...) a little amusing. It all seems a bit 'Carry On' sometimes.

Last year apart from the Challenge Cup farce, the fans saw the polished side of the club - spanking performances on the pitch, an exciting brand of rugby and a trophy at the end. What happens in between - the calamities and the circus all adds to the ingredients of an entertaining year. Do you remember anything noteworthy happening to Leigh for example? A forgettable year no?
