What was in the Courier only seemed to me to be what has already been on here and the Salford forum. Opinion and/or rumour. No official statement from Penky, Fax or the Reds. Nor any comment from Penky either.

Until something official is announced I'll continue to keep an open mind on this one.

Fax officials have been equally reticent, but with Bob Beswick and Mark Gleeson providing cover at hooker and the RFL's standard Championship contract containing a get-out dependent on compensation being agreed between the clubs, retaining the player against his will would have been problematic.

Dont know if its just me but this Piece from the courier suggests that all is not closed on this matter, almost to the point that the club may not be too bothered if he goes
