The fans language is not always great to say the least! As has been posted before I'm sure his total frustration boiled over. If the 'wonderful barmy army' had got their thick skulls together and done as they were asked this would not have taken place. The rules were stated again and again before and during the game but they decided to ignore it. Is like speeding and then moaning about the police when you get caught. They should take the blame and responsibility of their actions. The council would be in their rights to stop supporters attending games and I'm sure the same people who bemoaned Mr Lawrence having a go at them would bemoan the council when it all stems from them not doing as they are asked to do. Maybe he our chairman could channel his passion/energy or whatever you call it at the council and question why our restrictions appear to be significantly more than other clubs and stadiums. The Govt rules on stadia do not state masks need to be worn expect indoors or fully covered areas, e.g. toilets, entering the stadium etc. And refreshments can be served as long as the customer can then take it back and consume at their seat/place in the stadium. Very few people in the East Stand were wearing masks including the club’s own personnel, but I didn’t see anyone get challenged – seems like he may have made a beeline for the “balmy army”?

I am 100% with faxlore its idiots in society who seem to have lost the ability for humility or common sense . Witnessed a farmer confronting idiots marauding across his soon to be mowed hay meadow last weekend even though a very clear public footpath existed 50 yds away . Their reply...oh there are no signs mate to say we cant walk here so we can do what we want it's the countryside !! ....at which point the farmer completely lost it . It's just the attitude of it's not us that's wrong it's always someone else's fault . Anyway the farmer won .!

I agree. Fans on Facebook disagreed with me when I questioned the signing of OR. He's been sent here to get game time for the giants, no more no less.

If its the its the idiots in society thats at fault why didn't he have a go at the fans in the east stand not following the rules he wasn't even following the rules himself no face covering no social distancing and shouting and swearing in peoples faces before they even had a chance to speak

He wasn't due to play Sunday but Bourough was struggling with the broken nose he picked up at Newcastle. The fact that Grix had been trying to sign a scrum half before this deal does suggest that it was a position that he was actively looking at so the deal itself makes sense and with Robinson now out for a few weeks its worked out pretty well. That and Russell looking lively on Sunday given the short prep work it looks a promising signing.
