Great post and I think it kind of makes perfect sense after Jonny Headlines comments, a strong vibrant championship only increases the hype, SL fans & players all of a sudden see it as a good competition in itself and are more engaged in it.

If the funding equals itself then the 2 comps become interesting.

I might have to take issue with you there Richard, on both the spelling and the number of words.

Just been out of the loop for a few days, really good to see all the interest building for next season, it's looking like it'll be a cracker. DB is spending his money not mine so I've io issues there, better in rugby league than another sport to be fair, only wish I had that much to push about so he he as my support, just needs to be careful what he says sometimes.
I hope we can match Leigh in the pitch as nobody can argue that they don't have a good squad on paper but as we know the game is played on grass ( or plastic if you live in a chemical works ). They've still got Beswick so will always be a threat there.
