Not sure money is the issue here Sam has a very good job and was on excellent pay at Fax although I do believe he will listen to his agent

so we've signed Ridyard for next season then.

Its going to be interesting to see who we get though given Finn has a year left on his contract so that could rule him out and also it looks like Handforth and Thackery are both on their way. I think we are only a good 6,7,and 9 away from been able to push Sheffield and Fev very close.

Well if you look on the Total RL Fev site Liam Finn has said he has 1 year left on his contract and is looking forward to working with the new coach at Rovers.

So what are you saying then, our club enters into some expensive legal case over a player that they've obviously discarded ? I'm only asking, not suggesting.

My first post said what I was saying so no point in repeating it.

As regards a legal case, if there has been an approach to any of our players who are in contract yes I would expect the club to fight the case especially when you have a signed contract in the drawer.
Unless some form of compensation has allready been reached behind the scenes.

At the "New York" meeting KH specifically said.

That wasn't that long ago so the time frame for him to be going nowhere, to becoming discarded and then that becoming known so Leigh would make a behind the scenes approach to a contracted player who is one of the highest earners where he is when Leigh are not exactly strapped for cash etc etc etc.

To me something does not add up and we will probably never know but seeing as no one else had raised the point i did.
To be honest I don't care about those who are outgoing only those who are here and incoming.

This is pure comedy. At the end of the day he's a dork who doesn't know what day of the week it is.

If he really wanted to stay he would have put more effort in and showed his worth. Looking from the outside, he has not really shown that he deserves to get the money he gets. And Fax as a club have to make a decision do we waste money on somebody, who comes across as not putting in the effort and is costing the club thousands or look to cut losses even if it means loaning out to Fev. For me the club have done right. It also sends a message that no matter who you are the club will not tolerate people not putting in the effort

I take it he won't be helping with Irish's training next year!

That bit where he was allowed to go on loan to the league's most consistent league performers over the previous three or four seasons seems to be the moment he was discarded to me, correct me if you like, question that statement if you like but that's how i see it.

Wasn't that long after the alledged approach from Leigh which would mean he was still in the fold at the time,if they have approached him and how they can afford to pay his wages remains a big HOW.

Anyway it's done now and it remains to be seen where he will end up, the press again this week has Hull Fc very interested in him for what it's worth.
