Good craic all round matey. I always have faith in a ginner!!
This is a point my mate ging dong has been ranting on about inanely now to whoever he can get to listen to him for more than a minute without feeling suicidal!
Most people want us running downhill second half.... it's twice as bad getting back up the slope to defend... especially for a fat lad!
Well this proves you should both live in the life on mars street and havent played for years unlike me who has had 2 games already this season, well 1 1/2 as got sent off in 1. in the modern game they coach you to go against everything you have ever known and actually run forwards to get on side and not backwards but to look back. The idea being its easier to run forwards than backwards and it is, but still harder to run up hill, so a slope makes no difference. Lost count of the times i have played up hill 1st half on a slopey pitch and though game over only to lose. I once Remember a game V saints at Rovers and we were 20 odd points up at HT going up hill, only for saints to pull it back and win. I often hear fans going on about the Post Office Road slope it really makes no difference whatsoever
