Still awaiting confirmation for the Play Off game with Sheffield. Been told by Red Hall to not expect an answer until tmw morning. #FAX'"
Oooops, probably should not have sent this then.
Good Afternoon,
I would like to express my anger once again at the RFL for allowing the match to take place on Sunday the 18th of September with only a 3 day turn around to the most important game of the season whilst the other team is allowed a whole week.
Once again you are seem to be a laughing stock and the reason that people are turning their back on the Championship Leagues, Perhaps this is your agenda because everything you can do wrong you seem to be doing. Even the Journalists are turning on you for the contempt that you seem to be showing the “ Lower Leagues “.
You originally said that this game must be played before the Saturday but now allowing it on the Sunday giving both Leigh and Featherstone a Massive advantage, why the moving of goalposts ?. yet again, i do sometimes wonder if the RFL employ someone to do that job for them, and then i realise it’s just Wood , right and rimmer
Are you currently helping with funding for Sheffield eagles by any chance ?. All this season the fixtures have been a total farce all because Sheffield cannot get a place to play. The fixtures should be everyone plays everyone in the first half of the season and the same again in the second so that teams can peak and trough as they do in RL.
Just whilst i am at it, Your pathetic Expansion dream is not working at all is it.
SL – Crusaders – Gone, Harlequins only above wakefield due to Administration breach.
CC – Toulouse – Bottom of the tables for the last 3 years and now going home at the expense of Heartlands teams – Thanks for nothing with this.
C1 – Gateshead, London Skolars, South Wales scorpions – all 3 bottom of the table with a massive points difference.
Quite simply it is not working, everyone can see this except yourselves who are happy to watch heartland clubs disappear into the history books whilst throwing time and money into the expansion dream. Perhaps you should have been dreaming a backup plan for when the inevitable happened and whilst you’re at it, how about a structure to the championships before the end of the current season.
Try and get something right next year for championship clubs or there is simply going to be nothing left but your mundane 14 beloved teams and 5 drives and kick.
Yours angrily
