For me don't want any club to go under, but want them put back in NL1 next year, for Widnes reasons!

I certainly would not want them back in NL1 I was glad it was them that went up once we could see it wasn`t to be us. I`d rather have a few bus fulls of Widnes supporters than the 2 or 3 car loads of Celtic ones .

If they go under then for me they should be put into either our League or Champ 1 with the same rules regarding overseas players as everyone else. They keep talking about their "thriving development set up" so they ought to be able to put out a team (with one or two signings) that can compete

IT'll never happen. How many "New"players did they fetch in ? They keep saying last years squad is not up to it . Just where is the £1.3 million going if they still have the bulk of last years squad? Nobody on these threads has even talked about a parachute payment yet. OOPS, have I just given the RFL an idea.

Damien Quinn and Tony Duggan being let go due to 'squad restructuring'. They'll be off to Toulouse then.....

When Joel Penny was released by Donny when they had financial difficulties he was made an exception to the quota so he could find a club and wound up at Widnes, if the RFL would do the same I'd have Duggan at Fax.

He was only a year or so away for been eligible to play for Wales on residency grounds as well.

Duggan is a fullback.. would you want to use Miles elsewhere? If we didnt have Miles in his current form Id snap up Duggan, but at present we dont need him.

Id take QUinn though who is a stand off & always done well against us & the times Ive seen him on tv.

I do hope they sort themselves out because they are a club who are doing everything with the right intentions (albeit with MASSIVE support from the RFL) and I don't want another RL club to go under, and as Fax fans I think it'd be a bit rich of us to hope another club go out of business.
