| Didnt go last season due to KH way of playing but got my season ticket again n glad i did. Plenty of positives today against a full time team that were quicker and fitter but we battled hard and showed great spirit. Cant wait for next game, not felt like this for a few years. Well played and lets keep it going and the results will follow

| All sounds positive. Sounds like Richard Marshall is doing a great job clearing up the mess left by Karl Harrison. If only we'd had him on board last year....
I must admit, as a qualified coach myself, I like the way Richard speaks and how he thinks about the game. I said it before, my instinct is he will be good to play for. Our hardest task moving forward could be keeping hold of him.
Anyway, very promising, we won't play teams as good as Leigh every week. Well done to all

| You've a lot to feel positive about - good luck for the rest of the season (normal exceptions of course)

| Thought our forrads were excellent today in shocking conditions, first half kicking was really poor and we never got going on the back of it. No idea where the hell that ref came from but hopefully he'll go back there never to be seen again. If he'd have binned Barlow for the high shot then the next incident wouldn't have happened, how can he let somebody walk on to what is his pitch and do that first up, grow a pair man.
Lines men were probably worse than the ref if that's possible, complete waste of time and their trainer spent more time on the pitch than Barlow until Bloemy went after him.
Ref aside I enjoyed today's game, after the Harrison years it was a breath of fresh air, keep it up but it's going to be a tough season, league leaders up next I think.

| Good pack performance, in the backs Miles was outstanding and young Saltonstall looked the part.
Halves were a bit iffy with poor decision making and kicking game.
For Leigh Goulden, Beswick, Kaye and Worthington were probably the best.

| How the linesman missed the Kay try when Brown messed up again in the second half was amazing - having said that they did their best to keep Fax in the mix all game and it added to the spectacle

| I too felt positive about the game, really enjoyed the defensive spirit. Couldn't understand the sin binning and how fun fui avoided ten minutes.? What I don't get about Leigh though is, they have some really good players there, have a really good team spirit, so what's all the niggling thuggish behaviour about. I really like it tough and hard, but they are surely better than that.
For me I thought miles was superb and really looking forward to warm, dry pitches to see his best.

| Great effort today and we really got on top of their forwards in the second half as they probably tired from the Bradford game. I think if the ref had of let us play the game at our pace in the second half instead of Leighs then we may just have snook it. Was a really enjoyable game and watching that pudding Moi Moi get smashed repeatedly in the 2nd half was great to watch and got the crowd fired up. The difference in the teams was probably the kicking games, ours was poor in the first half and Leighs was top notch all the game.
I thought Greenwood and Saltonstall looked good in the backs and in Ambler and Manning we probably had the best two forwards on the pitch and the rest of the pack went very well. We will get better and better as the season comes along.

| Robbo was injured don't know about Johnson.
Great display especially from the forwards.
Bit harsh to criticise Place yet, he will never have played in conditions like those in his whole life. Give him time, as he said after the game "we will get there"
As regular readers will know I like and rate Sam but very disappointed with him today. As soon as he came on he went for Dane, half heartedly, it looked as though he was saying I tried to do him but missed.
As for Charlie's friend Fui Fui, no disrespect but he looked more like Winnie the Pui Pui. Should have had a yellow for that head high dive but apart from that did nothing.
"A fat Frank Frank Watene"
"Your just a fat Frank Watene"
To be honest their that last try flattered them, Leigh were blowing and I would respectfully suggest that if they are full time they get a new fitness conditioner
Need to keep our heads on at times, we kicked through Richard Moore chased and looked not infront but to his right and sidestepped into Pownall. Would have been a tackle five yards from their line and it became a penalty.
Having said that great game Richard.
Incidentally Pownall is your choreographer the same as Sams? You don't need to lay down for an eternity, yes we know you've been fouled, now get up you tart.
Mind you at least Leigh haven't anounced a fractured skull. Yet.
Finally Luke, great game and instrumental in getting the players to come to the touch line infront of the new scratching shed at the end.
Well done to him and well done to the team.
At least we got a bonus point.

| Thought our forwards really stood out today. Ambler is immense and shows that we can compete with FT players. Fui Fui Moi Moi was ineffective and I bet Sam is glad as he's not the fattest in the team. Miles looks good at full back and I think with time, we should be up there at the end of the season. Well played lads.

| A big result for us from a massive test. Your line speed in the second half was unreal, though I think Leyth can take pride from only conceding a try off our own mistake considering the territory and possession you had.
No doubting whatsoever about the sin bin. Could see it being lined up as soon as Barlow came in to the line and it really was a late and high shot. Shame about Barlow's reaction but in fairness you can't really blame him when on the receiving end in such a manner.
Not sure where you think Moimoi is a pudding considering he didn't lose any ground on any tackle all afternoon and continued a decent speed of PTB despite the conditions. Consider how many players he attracts in each and every tackle and the space it creates and then think about his value to the team.
Fax will certainly be in the mix - your games against Fev, London, Sheffield, Dewsbury, Batley and the like will be ones to savour I'm sure, and if you continue the backing you had today and the pressure it puts on the opposition and match officials alike then you could pick up some vital points at home.
