Just a quick update , a mix of rumour and rumour , Keyes n gee off to Bradford, Charlie graham signed for next season , we’ve signed ronan Dixon and Brad graham from dewsbury, dick gledhill reported another from dewsbury and one from Sheffield, if it’s Curtis Davies I won’t attend again , same if it’s Tyler Dickinson, only players remaining from them clubs I would be interested in is ollie greensmith and Bayley lu . We ve enquired about Riley dean and James meadows . Dick gledhill reported we’re making cut backs , where is lee Harvey Oswald When you need him .

Not sure on MG’s “cut backs” assessment, more like spending less and closer to previous years than this season where we spent more.

A lot of current players are either moving on or retiring and some of the early recruitment seems to be aimed at guys who have some ability at the lower end of the market but we will need a fair few incomings for next year and some of them must be a the right quality.

Not having GW’s wages will save a substantial amount and both Keyes and Gee will add to that.

Based on rumour of incomings and outgoings, it probably shows where we are at re our spending ability. Recruiting from the team who are favourites to yo yo back to league 1 is indicative of the quality we can afford.....then again they may end up being top quality..... at the level we could end up playing at next year.

Pons and Hantz have both left the club after there trails, we could do with replacing them.

Re Terry Silver, that tells a tale, to my humble opinion both seemed at least as good as we have and in positions that need cover, are the board that skint?

Jack Hansen is the Sheffield player we’re rumoured to be signing according to Gledhill.

Hanson played at swinton for a while, don’t know much about him but plenty of positive comments from people who do ,obviously Bradford bidded more for meadows .

Where's the money coming from at Bradford? Do they know summat that we don't?

Nigel Wood is involved at Bradford. I remember when we signed Graham Holroyd for 60 grand and Wood said Fax's finances were healthy but within weeks we were skint so no idea what happened there. Incidentally Wood worked for the BBC before joining the "Blue Sox" and he was production accountant on "Men Behaving Badly".

Me neither so looked on the Tube which has some highlights of him at Swinton (for what they’re worth) where he looks lively with good hands, a step and some pace.

He will have have a broken foot but tubs will play him at every game until the end of the season so when he comes to us he won’t be able to play.
