Not really any better than we already have.
I doubt signing Craven will mean that Jonno will play in the halves, I think it is well known that Richard doesn't think he is big enough to play there. He will only play him at FB unless he completely changes his mind.
I would not be surprised to see Jonno to leave at the end of the season, he has plenty of interest from other clubs.

We obviously need a big fast back for our team next year.what about having a chat with Gavin clinch again.tangata has been great for us.surely there are some cracking players in them leagues,and don't we have a quota place left.just an idea.

A lot of the signings will be like for like unfortunately.
Mainly from those who have not made the grade at full SL level and have decided that it's better to play for a Championship side on a regular basis than be loaned out, dual reg etc. Or players from other Championship clubs who the coach thinks are slightly better than the rest.

I have been trying to think of players who I would sign if I could with the resources available at the moment and it's not easy to do anything different from the above.

We don't have a lot of money to throw around anyway, not many established SL player will want to drop down a division and lose out financially and standard of play wise.

My ambition might be to have bigger and better things but if I can't afford to do so there's no point in even considering it unless I want to go bankrupt.
Our ambition is still there at every level of the club but it has to be realistic, which is a steady slow step at a time approach and hope that it will eventually get us somewhere but all things considered it will be tough.

By the way, which Haggerty have we been linked with, Kurt, Matt or some other?

If the signings for next year are correct.its just a roundabout of averages players.not exactly box office.no top 4 next year.and apparently we are skint.

At least we don't sell off our better players, get relegated and then question the ambitions of other clubs.
