Come on - no one on here actually believes you went to the game or your in a car with "mates".

You would be better served in sitting back in the car thinking "thank " because Ben Black does length of the field tries many, many times and you should thank "god", "allah", "Mohammed" and the Buddah that he chose to have his error today, or you would have been sat in the car crying.

We played poorly today. Widnes made very few mistakes - we made loads. They did the basics, we were lethargic and then panicky. Ref aside, they deserved their victory today. Will we have the character to come back and take the big trophy at the end of the season? I think so.

Jiffy Davies spends half his time slagging off the Widnes team when the chips are down. He's not a true fan.

Ignoring the referee , who was poor.Just some early thoughts.
Give Widnes credit - the first half they were by far the better side;they tackled well,drove the ball in well and with their big men certainly made life difficult for us- they made few mistakes.Us , on the other hand , were poor -too many forced passes,drop ball etc; was that because of them or was it just an off day - i dont know.20-6 down after 50mins i thought game over, but we then started playing;moving the ball wide , great support play,everything stuck.Dont blame Ben, yes he should have scored but thats rugby.Other players missed tackles , passed poorly etc-alas , like a striker who misses an open goal, the game will be remembered for his mistake.Hes' won many games for us in the past and will win more in the future.
Well done Widnes overall you played well and in Thrackeray a quality player.

I think it's a myth that it was only Halifax that bombed good chances today. We were held up over the line a few times in the first half (didn't see who as it was t'other end of the field) Dodd knocked on with the line begging, Penny should have skinned the full back instead of dithering and Hall knocking on over the line and would have been a certain try. I think Halifax's indiscipline stemmed from the fact that they thought they would be playing the same Widnes side as earlier in the season. Widnes are far from the finished article but they are no longer the [ifive drives and a kick [/imerchants of a few months ago.

dont see why some faxfans are bitting at what some widnes fans are saying on here



being a fax fan for 27 years ive been lucky to go to some finals and see them win and lose . but i think alot of people a missing the bigger picture .

as a club we have three years to get it right and in my eyes that means winning the league and the grand final three years in a row . not a tin pot cup in blackpool.

well done widnes for the win today and good luck for the final , but i know which cups i would like my team to be lifting at the end of the season and this one wasnt the one on top of my list

its about time some fan fans stopped gobbing off on other message boards about how good we are , etc etc . then split the dummy out when them fans come on here and give u back .

You dont have three years dude you only have 2, the decision regards franchises will be made mid part of the third year. So it's this year or next.
